How a Pumpd job
actually runs

The process01 / 05
01
01
Booked direct
Straight to Blake, not a call centre. A confirmation lands the afternoon before, so your crew, your formwork and your concrete supplier are all working to the same time.
02
On site early
Set up, plumbed and primed before the agitator turns in. The first load never sits in the barrel waiting on us, which is where a pour usually loses its morning.
03
The hard access
This is where the job is won. Long line runs around the house, through the garage, down a batter you cannot get a truck near. The access other crews look at and knock back.
04
The difficult mix
High-pressure wet mix held at slump the full length of the run, sprayed by an EFNARC-accredited robotic nozzleman. Compaction, rebound and cover controlled by someone who learned it underground, not on driveways.
05
Clean exit
A dense, bonded shell handed over ready for the next trade, the job documented on the day, the site swept and the road pressure-washed before we pull out.
Who runs it

Where the difficult
work comes from

Pumpd is owner-operated out of the Sunshine Coast by Blake Andreas, with ten-plus years across mining, tunnelling and civil behind it. High-pressure pumping and wet-mix shotcrete for pools, walls, civil structures and slope stabilisation, including the tight-access runs other crews knock back.

We turn up prepared, talk to builders, suppliers and site teams properly, document the job on the day and leave the site clean.

Great work from the boys at PUMPD. I prepped a plunge pool and they were in and out in 3hrs, great price, fantastic finish! Very professional. Highly recommend.

Blake Andreas is a breath of fresh air in the concreting space. He provides great communication from start to finish. We had a concrete cricket pitch installed, and the boys were tremendous. I have no hesitation is recommending Blake.

The crew & I recently had our project pumped in by the boys at PUMPD and I could not be happier with the service! From the booking to the confirmation message the afternoon before, they were great to have on board with us. They even cleaned their mess out on the road with their pressure cleaner leaving nothing for us to pick up for them! Highly recommend these boys!!

These guys were booked on late notice and smashed the job in for us, very neat and tidy. 10/10 would recommend.

A flat block with a clear run is easy work. We get a line to the sites you cannot back a truck up to.

Around the house · through the garage · long line runs · down a batter by hose

Frequently
asked

Anything not answered here, call Blake on 0434 866 490 and ask him directly.

What is shotcrete, and how is it used in pool construction?+

Shotcrete is concrete sprayed onto a reinforced framework under high pressure rather than poured into formwork. In pool construction it creates a dense, seamless shell that can be shaped to a custom design, with more strength and more flexibility than a poured shell.

What is the difference between shotcrete and regular concrete?+

How it is placed. Shotcrete is sprayed, so it bonds tightly and takes complex shapes; traditional concrete is poured into formwork. Sprayed concrete gives greater structural integrity and less cracking risk, which is why it suits pools, retaining walls and complex structures.

Do you spray pools on the Sunshine Coast?+

Yes. We spray residential and commercial pool shells from Caloundra to Gympie, working with builders, landscapers and homeowners.

What sort of projects can shotcrete be used for?+

Swimming pools, retaining walls, basements, slope stabilisation, civil infrastructure and underground works. Its strength and adaptability suit both structural and decorative applications.

Why choose Pumpd for your project?+

Experienced operators, modern equipment and proven technique, on jobs other crews turn down. An EFNARC-accredited robotic nozzleman, QBCC licensed, $20M public liability, and a crew that documents the job and leaves the site clean.
